Process Simplification for Excellence

Course Overview

Process mapping is a valuable technique for creating a common vision and shared language for improving business results of an organization. Philosophically based on the famous axiom “A picture is worth more than a thousand words”, process mapping helps organizations visualize the various types of wastes in their processes, thus providing an opportunity to develop leaner and more robust business processes.

This workshop will expose participants to process mapping, and its role in organization's business success. It will provide necessary skill set to the participants to effectively map various processes in their respective departments, using the most appropriate model from a wide arsenal of mapping tools. Special focus will be given to develop the mindset of participants in looking at business processes from a larger more holistic perspective, and avoiding the pitfall of “focusing on trees and missing out the forest”.
